На территории Беларуси он впервые был обнаружен в 1970-х годах в небольших прудах, расположенных в черте г. Минска. В городе, находящимся на водоразделе бассейнов Черного и Балтийского морей, насчитывалось наибольшее число водных объектов, заселенных этим видом: примерно до середины 2000-х гг. ротан населял почти все водоемы и некоторые участки водотоков города, его численность в них была относительно стабильной. Исследования, проведенные в 2020–2022 гг., показали сокращение числа водоемов, в которых вид присутствует, и общее уменьшение его численности по сравнению с периодом 1996–2005 годов. За период 1996–2005 гг. в г. Минске и его окрестностях было выявлено 82 водных объекта, в которых обитал ротан-головешка, за период 2020–2022 гг. — в 44-х, в 18-и из которых численность его осталась стабильной, а в 26-и — сократилась. Ротанголовешка входит в комплекс городской ихтиофауны и заселяет водоемы, начиная с наиболее мелких. Наиболее благоприятные условия обитания для него складываются в небольших непроточных, умеренно зарастающих водной растительностью и умеренно захламляемых, с относительно чистой водой, водоемах. В большинстве из них ротан постоянно живет вместе с другими видами рыб, не сокращая их численность, что обусловлено, видимо, как внешними факторами, так и образом жизни вида.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The Chinese sleeper, Perccottus glenii Dybowski, 1877, is one of the most common alien fish species in Eurasia. On the territory of Belarus, it was first discovered in the 1970s in small ponds located within the city of Minsk. In the city, located on the watershed of the Black and Baltic Seas, there were the largest number of water bodies inhabited by this species: until the middle of the 2000s. it inhabited almost all separate reservoirs and some sections of the city’s watercourses, its numbers in them were relatively stable. Studies conducted in 2020–2022 showed both a decrease in the number of water bodies in which the species is present and a general decrease in its abundance compared to the period 1996–2005. For the period 1996–2005 in the city and its environs, 82 water bodies were identified, in which the Chinese sleeper lived, for the period 2020–2022 — in 43, in 17 of which its number remained stable, and in 26 it decreased. The Chinese sleeper is included in the urban ichthyofauna complex and inhabits water bodies, starting from the smallest ones. The most favorable living conditions for it are formed in small stagnant, moderately overgrown with aquatic vegetation and moderately cluttered, with relatively clean water, water bodies. In most of them, it constantly lives together with other fish species, without reducing their numbers, which is due to both external factors and lifestyle of this species.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>чужеродный вид</kwd><kwd>ротан-головешка</kwd><kwd>распространение</kwd><kwd>относительная численность</kwd><kwd>водные объекты</kwd><kwd>г.
